VHIR is seeking to fill **two Research Technician** positions in the Biomedical Research Group in Gynecology.
**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:
- Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Laboratory Operations, Clinical Laboratory, or similar.
- Fluency in Catalan and Spanish; good level of English.
- Animal Handling Course.
**Desired**:
- Training in handling chemical and/or biological products.
**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience performing laboratory tasks.
- Expertise as laboratory technician.
- Expertise in biobanking and handling complex human samples
- Familiarity with sample and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Desired**:
- Previous experience in biomedical research environments.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.
**Main responsibilities and duties**:
- Manage the biobank, collection, processing, storing and recording of samples.
- Manage the preclinical models platform, including mouse models and organoids.
- Maintain laboratory inventories.
- Provide support for daily laboratory activities.
- Prepare reagents and solutions.
- Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with biosafety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members in experimental tasks.
- Be updated in laboratory techniques.
**Labour conditions**:
- Full-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: 01/10/2025.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract**:2 available positions. Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
