Description of the team

The Finance Operations team supports finance operations across Adevinta by identifying improvement opportunities, working with stakeholders to develop business cases, implementating plans and acting as an escalation point of contact for the Business Process Owner.

Within Finance we act as a trusted business partner protecting, creating and driving sustainable stakeholder value through one innovative team. While also creating a controlled and protected environment with accurate and timely financial information, safeguarding the company with integrity, robust compliance and controls.

**Job Description**:
What you’ll do

The Payroll Implementation Consultant will report to the Payroll Global Process Owner and will be responsible for:
Data migration process during the payroll implementation and ensure safety is maintained

Execute standards of operations to be applied in the different countries across Adevinta

Training for new Shared Services Center (SSC) staff as required with the right documentation and procedures

Maintain meetings with different stakeholders in each country to document the current payroll process and make sure all specific needs are covered by the SSC or payroll provider

Ensure appropriate staffing levels in line with the different waves of the payroll implementation

Attend transformation meetings with the new payroll provider, manage the relationship and ensure they are following best practices

Create payroll policies and procedure flows to document the processes for future stage of payroll

Ensure that the payroll provider has all the processes documented and country specifics are taken into account

Identify potential improvements and automations of the current payroll process in different countries, standardising as much as possible those with minimum added value

**Qualifications**:
Who you are

1-5 years of working experience in a similar role within an international company in payroll, operations processing or consulting

Good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR

Basic knowledge of benefit structure and taxation implications

Working understanding of payroll systems, Workday and ERP systems

Works in a structured and focused way especially when approaching new challenges

Good sense of order and systematic working routines

Solution and business oriented

Deadline oriented, takes ownership and ensures that work is completed

Striving for high quality in deliverables

Constructive, positive and collaborative attitude especially when meeting challenges and time pressure

Good communication skills

Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
