**Job Description**:
AECOM Spain Architecture team within the Building and Places business line is looking for an Architect with wide expertise in the domain of the railway infrastructures (Railway; Metro; Tramway) focused on Station buildings.
This person will become part of an experienced team that delivers world-class solutions to international and Spanish clients (such as ADIF; Dirección General del Ferrocarril; Compañías de Metro y Consorcios de Transporte; Contratistas nacionales).
The Senior Rail Architect would lead the design and delivery of whole railway Station Projects and would also lead the technical aspects of bid proposals in this sector.
**Responsibilities**:
- Railway and Metro Stations design from Concept to Construction Documents.
- Design lead in coordination with other disciplines and teams, to get a well integrated solution.
- Deliver High Quality Architectural design solutions.
- Solutions presentations.
- Bid preparation.
- Delivery strategy development, meeting project deadlines.
**Qualifications**:
We are looking to hire an expert in** **Railway infrastructure design, focused on Station buildings.
Studies and Background: Architecture degree/master. Level 3 MECES or 7 EQF.
Minimum of 15 years of experience will be essential and specialization on Station buildings will be really appreciated.
Knowledge of international industry practice, standards and regulations is required.
Fluent Spanish and English, both are essential (written and spoken).
Expanded experience to other transportation infrastructures like Airport Terminals will also be appreciated.
