A structural engineer is responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring that cost, timelines, and quality standards are met. The structural engineer analyzes project goals, designs structural elements, performs field visits, makes safety recommendations, and maintains a project database. An individual with a background in project management is needed who is detail-oriented and able to solve problems. With exceptional analysis and design, Scruffy Dog delivers high-quality infrastructure projects designed with safety in mind.

Structural Engineering provides the structural support for all other facility, show, and ride systems. Among the structural systems are. A building consists of a foundation, columns, beams, girders, bearing walls, floors, and roofs. As a result of this structure, the facility is capable of carrying a complete load vertically and laterally. There are a variety of structural materials available, including steel, aluminum, concrete, wood, composites or plastics, and masonry.

Development opportunities

The objectives of this position are as follows:

- Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget by monitoring its progress.
- Ensure that design protocols are in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- The structural elements of each project should be designed using appropriate computer software.
- Provide recommendations regarding the materials to be used and the safety measures to be taken.
- Provide technical reports and analyses as required.

**Skills and qualifications**
- Certification in engineering
- Technical background in structural design.
- A deep understanding of the materials and methodologies used in construction.
- Demonstrated drafting skills as evidenced by a portfolio of previous work.
- Collaboration skills and experience working in a team.
- Ability to solve problems quickly on-site and maintain the progress of projects.
- Languages: Professional English and Spanish; Arabic is a plus
- Experience in the entertainment and leisure industry is preferred.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum education: Higher Engineering
- Minimum experience: More than 5 years
- Languages required:
English - Native or Bilingual
Spanish - Advanced Level
Arabic is a plus.

**Salary**: 30,000.00€ - 40,000.00€ per year
