Research Engineer for Environmental Digital

The mission of our team is to make ArcelorMittal first steelmaker in the world in Environmental Performance. We are creating the knowledge and R&D solutions to reduce Air Emissions and make a sustainable use of Water. The team is located in Asturias and works in an international environment creating the new best available technologies in steel making.
**Who we are locking for**
**The role within the team would be**:
- Support the development and deployment of digital solutions to current challenges within the company, focused on environmental impact and risk mitigation.
- Manage IT Developing contracts including scope, quality (critical review of delivered work) and schedule.
- Participate the digitalization aspects of the solutions being developed in the group, understanding the researcher and client needs to create the required tools to address them.
- Deliver synergies between between digital and non digital team in mining on digital aspects.
**What we will need**
- **Education: IT/Computer Science engineering **with experience or training in Mining, Steel or Environment or a **Master in Mining, Geology, Chemical, Environmental or Industrial engineering, **with proven experience or training in Computer Science.
- Experience with **Geographic Information Systems **(GIS) and Digital platforms development as a full stack IT team Leader.
- Experience in **Mining or Steel production **will be highly valuable.
**Minimum requiriments**
- **Certifications of Digital technologies**:Cloud management, Databases, IoT Knowledge and other IT certificates.
- Basic Knowledge about mining processes and steel production routes.
- Experience in project management and management of stakeholders expectations.
- **Soft skills**: Initiative, Adaptability, Results Oriented, Team Work, Technological Curiosity
- **Languages**: English and Spanish advanced.
- **Valid work and residence permit for Spain **.**
