An ICS Cyber Security Engineer uses their knowledge of Industrial Control Systems and Cyber Security to deliver components within ABB's portfolio of Cyber Security Products and Services. An ICS Cyber Security Engineer is also expected to support Cyber Security Experts in the delivery of more specialized offerings.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Deliver Cyber Security services and consulting to Process Industry customers
- Evaluate control systems security regarding customer requirements and compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Integrate automated capabilities for updating or patching systems where practical and develop processes and procedures for manual updating and patching of system software based on current and projected patch timeline requirements for the operational environment of the system
- Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network problems
- Propose, implement and test foundational security controls
- Carry out system design work, configuration of firewalls, switches, and other security-related HW
- Implement and maintain network security hardware and software
- Configure and install intrusion detection systems
- Respond to security issues during each stage of a project's lifecycle
- Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance cyber security
- Assist in developing and launching cyber security service offerings
- Present concept decisions with risk evaluation to customers in meetings, workshops, seminars etc.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the customer success team for offer preparation.
- Assist in developing and launching cyber security service offerings locally

**Your background**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cyber Security, Industrial Automation, or another relevant field
- Work as part of a global team to offer 24/7/365 follow the sun services
- Ensure regular cyber security maintenance is delivered in line with obligations of service contracts
- Design and implement cyber security solutions to protect customers industrial systems using ABB’s cyber security portfolio
- Conduct on site Cyber Security Assessments for customers industrial systems
- Advise customers of security issues and work collaboratively to resolve them
- Use network and event monitoring systems to monitor the ongoing security of customer systems as part of an outsources Security Operations Center
- Provide advice and support to customer during and after a cyber security incident
