**Descripción**: The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in the following main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and reproductive Health, Urban Health and Child and environmental health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases. ISGlobal is seeking a PhD student who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project Echilibrist for the working package related to Health Impact Assessment and Evaluation.
**Training and experience /Qualifications**:
- Degree in Economics, Public Health or equivalent
- Master in Health Economics or Equivalent
- Experience on the analysis of quantitative data, statistical and econometric models, Health Technology Assessment, Health Impact Assessment and/or Evaluation
- Experience with R or Stata programming
**Specific Requirements**:
- Immediate incorporation
**Key Responsibilities**:
- The PhD student will work together with others members of the HIA group to conduct data collection for the Echilibrist Project from the partners countries.
- Perform statistical analyses and work on engagement with stakeholders and consortium members.
- Develop statistical and mathematical models for the health impact assessment and evaluation.
- Interpretation of data and writing of the manuscripts/projects in collaboration with other members of the team and external collaborators.-
