We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Controller to join our business, based in Santo Tirso, Portugal. The Site Controller allows responsibility for directing overall financial policies in the plant while driving profitable growth. You will enjoy this role if you are a highly motivated professional with a sense of urgency, a proven track record, strong strategic and communication skills, and a liking to act as a trusted business advisor. **In this role your main responsibilities will be to**: Manage the monthly closing process Preparation and interpretation of the monthly P&L of the site and provide guidance and support to the site manager Manage monthly forecasting process considering input from business partners in other functional areas Responsible for the budget process in the site Establish a strong business partner culture in the site in order to achieve defined targets by combining different skills Accountable for all statutory, IFRS and legal matters including P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility Conduct quarterly audits of physical inventory counts to validate internal controls Ownership of financial measures associated with established KPI´s Support external annual audit and coordinate with Shared Service Centre, Controller Group, Group Tax, and Group Treasurer Prepare and track Capex projects and ROI calculation **Your Profile**: Bachelor’s in business administration, Economics or similar Professional experience of minimum 5 years in production industries or reputed audit firms Excellent skills in MS -Excel, MS-PowerPoint and SAP Proactive, strong personality and pressure resistant Capacity to build strong business relationships internally Cross functional thinking Strong analytical skills, good judgement with strong operational focus Goals and deadlines orientated Self-management skills and Problem-solver attitude Excellent communication and presentation skills in Portuguese, Spanish and English Faster adaptation to changes Ability to cope with conflict situations Klöckner Pentaplast is an equal opportunity employer, which makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, handicap, disability, sexual preference or marital status.
