**JOB SUMMARY**

Join our client's team as a Cost Accounting Analyst specializing in Manufacturing for a prestigious pharmaceutical manufacturer in Lliçà d'Amunt, Barcelona [Remote work possible on 2 days]

As a key member of the Finance team at the OEM Technology Centre, you will monitor and evaluate accounting and costing activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Purchasing, Planning, Sales&marketing, and other Finance departments).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collects data to determine costs of product such as raw material purchases, inventory, labor and overhead.
- Review Standard and Actual Cost.
- Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Reports on periodic variances and their cause.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing, Planning and Purchasing departments in the review and correction of variances.
- Support month end closing with the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger, and account analysis.
- Assists in the compilation of cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
- Assists in the preparation of the Operations annual budget and forecast.
- Assists in the annual Inventory count.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Diplomatura) in finance, economics or related field (may be substituted by relevant skills and work experience).
- Standards: Cost accounting knowledge, 3 years in similar position.
- Software: Fluency in Office Tools (Excel & Word) and SAP.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish and/or Catalan and advanced knowledge of English (reading and speaking).

**SKILLS & CAPABILITIES**
- Management of decisions under pressure.
- Ability to collaborate, participate and coordinate actively with working groups.
