Planner

**Role Description**: Prepares, optimises and facilitates a production plan which meets the needs of the Swiss Principal and optimises the effective utilisation of the manufacturing facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor usages of Metal and ODMs to manage and optimise stocks. In absence of SPD manager manage metal and ODM´s stocks.
- Produces reports as required including, inventories and held raw materials.
- Daily planning activities as preparing weekly production plan, coordinating the forecast input and initial sequencing.
- Create the production plan and monitor raw material supply for planned: projects / customer approvals / maintenance / trials etc.
- Checks that all graphics requirements and production tooling are approved and in place to meet the production plan for ends or cans. In absence of platemaker produce plates for new labels and damaged plates replacement.
- Establish an optimum production plan which meets the requirements of BPE Principal and optimises the effective running of the manufacturing operation.
- In conjunction with SPD and BPE Principal adapt the production plan to accommodate extraordinary circumstances e.g. shutdowns, quality issues, down-time etc.
- Proactively communicate planning problems to all relevant parties
- Co-ordinate the sorting and utilisation of HFI and end of runs.
- Utilise the appropriate software systems necessary to carry out the key responsibilities of this role.

The functions and controls associated with the procedures of the Integrated Management System

**Requirements**:
University degree, Engineering or similar More than 5 years in process Language. Detailed operational IS skills, ability to selftraining, such as: FPG04/06 Rev A 3 - MS Office - SAP - Comrep - Infinity - Apriso Statistical packages (e.g. MVP, Minitab, SPSS).
