**Main Responsibilities / Activities**
Volpak is seeking to incorporate new skills and experience to the team, for this reason, we are looking for a Product Engineer whom:

- Designs and implements improvements on the existing machines features with the goal of enhancing performance, costs and reliability respecting the constraints of time, quality levels, technical standards and defined KPIs.
- Ensure the new design products are ready to be industrialized in all areas from Engineering to Assembly.
- To propose opportunities to improve costs starting from the design point of view.
- Tracking costs evolution for standard design parts.
- Delivers technical information to organization regarding improved design.
- Transfers engineering know-how into norms/rules, establishing standarized procedures.
- Ensures the maximum standardization designs in order to minimize the inventory obsolescence.

**Key Competences / Leadership Attributes**
- Proactiveness and leadership aptitude is a must
- Result oriented and innovative approach
- English language, intermediate level. Others would be an advantage
- Availability for sporadic trips (Catalonia area)

**Basic Requirements**
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Industrial or similar)
- At least 5/6 years of experience in similar role
- Need proven experience as a Costs Engineer in a manufacturing company
- Fabrication processes deep knowledge
- Need proven experience of 3D CAD software (Solidworks or similar)
- Knowledge in additive manufacturing
- Knowledge in CADENAS or similar would be a plus
- Knowledge of Windchill
- Technical aptitude to collect and analyze data for determining an improvement strategy
- Teamwork attitude
- Good understanding of customer needs
- Knowledge of Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel
- Knowledge in SAP would be a plus
