Propagation Technician

Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified **Propagation Technician** This position will be located in **Seville**.

:
Responsible managing in vitro plants, rooting blueberry plants and agronomist operations.

ORGANIZATIONAL FIT:
This position reports to Planning Lead in Europe and works closely with inventory, production and other departments at the nursery, supervise work teams, also supervise labor contractors and other temporary employees as needed.

JOB SETTING:
Office and greenhouse setting. Evening, weekend and work over the holidays may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

1. Leads horticultural management of the nursery. Supervises, organizes and monitors the work of employees within assigned teams.

2. Assists planning to organize cycles and sub cycles in a target's workbook. Accurately reports and records work activity. Assists with time-motion studies as needed. Assists with organizing workflow and work efficiency.

3. Assists with monitoring plant quality by watching for unusual plant appearance, plant diseases or signs of stress, pests, or other potential problems with the crop. Notifies management of issues in a timely manner. Assists TC quality control, planting order to prioritize work within established guidelines.

4. Ensuring that standard operating procedures and quality control forms are followed through reporting. Accomplishing Fall Creek's written specifications and quality expectations to produce plugs and coordinates plugs delivery with production. Evaluation tipping sprouts.
