- Have recent UK or International experience of teaching Science at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5; IGCSE, A level in Physics and/or Chemistry
- Have an Honours Degree in Chemistry or Physics or a related field
- Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have a proven track record of raising standards of attainment in Science
- A commitment to curriculum innovation
- Be an outstanding teacher
- Be well organised and creates a stimulating learning environment
- Be enthusiastic and demonstrate a positive approach to pupils
- Be a reflective practitioner and continually strives to improve performance
- Have a keen interest in the Personal Development of pupils
- Have experience of being an effective form tutor (or equivalent)

Remuneration includes a competitive salary and retention bonus and bursaries for up two 2 accompanying children. The school and BSF provide strong opportunities for ongoing professional development.

The British International School of Marbella was established in August 2009. The school has experienced steady growth and it has now grown to incorporate EYFS, Primary and Secondary School to Key Stage 5. In June of 2020 we moved into our brand new, purpose built campus.
