**Oncology Business Unit EUCAN** is a key contributor to the continued and future growth of our Oncology business at AstraZeneca. We seek dedicated commercial leadership for our franchises across functions and markets, maximizing the regional potential of our leading Oncology portfolio, delivering commercial excellence in close collaboration with a wide variety of internal stakeholders (e.g., IBEX, Innovation and Digital Strategy, Market Access) and external partners.

Our regional organization is well set and empowered to operate as a key catalyst between our global business strategies and the local healthcare systems, enabling and evolving a dynamic and swift commercial, access and medical implementation in the respective markets.

As the **Business Excellence & Transformation Lead** you will define and execute the OBU strategy in the Market, in coordination with the Innovation & Digital Strategy Team. Reporting to the OBU Director, the Business Excellence & Transformation Lead will be part of the OBU country leadership team and the Innovation and Digital Strategy (IDS/IBEX) country leadership team. The lead will ensure a data and insights-based approach that guarantees excellence in execution, launch planning and omnichannel execution. Additionally,

In alignment with the country Business Transformation Office and the IDS/IBEX team, this role will be shape, lead and execute the digital innovation strategy for Oncology in the market. Ensuring an industry leading data and insights based omnichannel approach through capability programs and operational leadership.

**YOUR MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS**:
**Strategic Planning and Execution**
- In close partnership with Country Head of Oncology, Oncology Leadership Team, and Marketing Company leadership, define, shape and oversees Oncology Unit business strategy, planning and processes, ensuring a consistent approach and meeting deadlines in strategic and operational planning.
- Accountable for integration of the OBU, Franchise & Functional agendas and aligning them to Oncology Unit Strategy and Score Card
- In close collaboration with other functions in the company establish monitoring systems and metrics that support the correct implementation of plans and performance of therapeutic areas, sharing best practices across the marketing company and mitigating anu duplication of efforts with other functions.
- Collaborate with the Head of Oncology and the financial team to ensure the strategic allocation of resources.

**Business Insights & Analytics**
- Guarantee the best-in-class use of data and promote an insights-based leading culture within Oncology unit by overseeing:

- the delivery of industry-leading insight and analytics for the digitalization of Oncology
- Using data to drive investment decisions and patient centric solutions
- the collaborative relationships with local teams and global to prioritize market opportunities
- Collaborate in the development of sales objectives and incentive schemes for the Oncology unit

**Operational Excellence**
- Ensure alignment between Oncology Unit and the Marketing Company to drive consistency and synergies in the implementation of Oncology Unit priorities and initiatives.
- Oversee Oncology Leadership Team meeting agenda:

- ensuring consistency in governance and strategy of the unit
- establishing the measures and ways of working that allow for excellent execution and monitoring of business
- Oversee the development and acceleration of the Omni channel strategy, in partnership with IDS/IBEX, for the Oncology business
- Oversee the establishment of effective relationships with contractors and other third-party vendors through oversight of the vendor management process, aligning processes and investments with the Innovation & Digital Strategy department.
- Oversee contribution towards the delivery of the annual P&L, Contribution and Sales targets as well as budget management
- Accountable for monitoring of digital KPIs and necessary actions to maximize identified opportunities
- Accountable for driving development and continuous adoption of channel mix across brands and in local account teams
