**The role of has the following responsibilities**:
The Systems Engineer - Cloud will enable Vodafone to quickly onboard solution providers, supporting the industrialisation process, identify and troubleshoot issues with vendors and different teams to enable project delivery, and be the catalyst and driver of cloud technologies for Vodafone’s IoT business.
**With us you will**:
- Manage project driven integration and day-to-day administration of cloud solutions within E2E Solutions.
- Develop prototypes, designing and building modules and solutions for Cloud Platforms in an iterative agile cycles, develop, maintain, and optimize the business outcome
- Conduct peer reviews and maintain coding standards
- Driving Cloud solution automation and integration activity for Cloud Providers (primarily AWS & occasionally Azure/GCP)
- Build and deploy cloud infrastructure by using terraform scripts.
- Develop Ansible and Python scripts for infrastructure automation like “user creation”, “security hardening”, etc.
- EC2, EKS and VPC operations activities in AWS cloud.
- Storage allocation and maintenance in AWS by using S3, EBS and Glacier storage.
- Deploying and resizing of EC2 instances on running environment.
- Manage ELBs and Elastic IPs.
- Train and develop AWS expertise within the team.
- Troubleshoot integration with partner systems, AWS network connectivity, routing issues and security group problems, etc.
- Troubleshoot EC2 instances performance, capacity issues, etc.
- Support the maturity of DevOps culture and methodologies within the E2E and wider PPE organisation
- Providing professional technical consultancy and support to all Cloud-related programmes and existing environments
