**Job Purpose**:
Fluidra Digital EMEA is hiring a Technical Architect within its overall software organization, reporting to the Digital B2B Platform Manager. This role will be responsible for the architecture of the platform with deep understanding of the protocols to communicate each part of the platform. The person shall be able to defend and properly communicate how the platform works and be able to propose any improvement to it in terms of functionality. The technical architect will work closely with the development teams and delivery teams to properly define and agree the best technical solutions for the B2B Sales online channel.

- The eSales solution based in Magento
- Product Information Management (PIM) based in inRiver
- Brand webs

The main purpose of the Technical Architect role is to:

- The main activity of the architect will be to maintain and evolve the current platform. How?
- Reporting and documenting the architecture using text and diagrams.
- Supporting technical teams on the best architectural decisions

In parallel, having this huge understanding of the capabilities and vulnerabilities of the current approach, as a team we will create a parallel project to have a more stable, easy configurable and scalable platform as a mid-term/long-term solution. This person will be in charge of creating the basics for this new solution considering the technical, economic and usable aspects that are missing in the current solution.

**Responsibilities**:
Our team needs to incorporate an agile and motivated person to:

- Understand the current state of our platform and suggest changes to it.
- Collaborate to document in the technical perspective the platform.
- Support the technical discussions with the development teams.
- Report progress, plans, and problems to upper management and other involved parties.

**Competences**:
The main skills of that role are:

- Infrastructure understanding with Cloud and On-Premise solutions.
- AWS Cloud Architect (virtual machines, microservices, networking, endpoints, environments, infrastructure as code,)
- Communication Protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, MQTT, MQTTS, Event Bus, API REST, WebSocket, SMTP,desired BLE)
- Development background in high level software solutions.
- Capable of reading code and files (xml, json, yaml).
- Reporting and documenting the architecture using text and diagrams.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent English both written and verbal is a must have.
- Ability to think strategically, while diving into the details of data.
- Capabilities with JIRA, Powerpoint, GDrive and Service Desk

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience communications protocols (APIs, MQTT, Event Bus )
- Good background in defining, using and implementing architectures, either microservices as well as serverless solutions (in Cloud or On-Premise servers).
- Experience in a remote software development environment.
- Strong notions of security best practices.
- Previous exposure to large-scale systems design.
- Experience with Git: Version controlling to manage and collaborate in different projects with the rest of the team.
- DevOps principles and knowledge.
- Report and document based on diagrams and text.
- Development background experienced.
