**Cost Accountant-Cost Analyst
- Cost Controller Junior**

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and eager to develop professionally as an Accountant-Cost Analyst within the industrial sector, who will report to the Regional Cost Manager and work with a local team. In this role, you will support a regional Accounting/Finance structure, working closely with different departments of the Production structure.

**Your role**:

- Month end reporting Perform month end close for financial closings.
- Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations and analysis.
- Analysis of cost and production data within the company.
- Standard cost product management: Analysis of material costs, efficiency, indirect costs, etc.
- Project accounting: monthly margin review and processing Sales and Margin analysis by Business Unit and product type. Knowledge in progress advance Revenue Recognition method.
- Month-end journal processing accruals/prepayments/recharges fixed asset Accounting.
- Reconciliation of inventory/purchases, accruals of accounts receivable invoices and progress advance invoices from suppliers.
- Support external and internal audits.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar disciplines.
- English proficiency (minimum B2).
- Spanish proficiency (minimum C1).
- Experience in Management Control / Accounting Departments (1 to 3 years).
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office products.
- Good accounting Knowledge.
- Good academic grades.
- Ability to adapt to changes and seek the best practices/solutions/processes (continuous improvement).
- Availability of occasional mobility between the manufacturing plants in the Comunidad de Madrid.

**It would be a plus if you if you also have**:

- Any knowledge or experience in project cost accounting.
- Experience with ERP, preferably SAP.
- ERP’s implementation.
- General accounting knowledge, preferably US GAAP or IFRS, and ideally cost or project accounting.
- Used to work in companies with SOX compliance internal control system.
