**What your responsibilities will be**
The Head of Energy Management works at a strategic level, reporting to the executive board as guarantor of the company's gross margin.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, within a fast growing environment, this role will lead, manage and develop a team of 16-20 people currently responsible for:
- The energy management for Holaluz’s client portfolio - currently 300,000 customers - hedging strategy implementation, settlement follow-up and analysis, physical markets operation, pricing, control of margins by product type, analysis of costs of the energy for the portfolio (REE, GDO, ATR), forecast of income, cost and margins for the next 12 months.
- The energy management of Holaluz’s Route to Market (“RTM”) portfolio - currently 4,5 TWh/year from different renewable technologies - pricing for winning new RTM and PPA contracts, control and implementation of strategies to improve the margin on RTM contracts, operating in spot markets with focus on solar and wind energy, forecast of income, cost and margins from RTM and PPA contracts for the next 12 months.
- Distributed generation - the expected key driver of growth - development along with the data team of the management of excess energy produced by solar panels from Holaluz’s customers.

**What we need**
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in a Portfolio analysis position or alike
- Deep understanding of the energy sector
- Extensive knowledge of hedging financial derivatives
- Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and think strategically, both in the big picture and with the details.
- You are creative, resourceful and make reasonable assumptions when there is no straightforward path to an answer.
- Collaborative work style / leadership presence with ability to effectively interact with & earn trust of peers and senior management across the organization.
- Self-starter with a keen sense of ownership and commitment to the work, and a passion to deliver results.
