For our new Engineering team in Madrid we are currently recruiting for a

**Senior Technical Lead Stress Engineering
- Based in Madrid Spain**

As part of the “Stress Engineering department” of Jet Aviation you will be responsible for successfully delivering Stress Lead activities for assigned project. You will contribute to daily operations and activities to ensure project results are met respecting budget, time and quality targets. You will be collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout the company to ensure that the projects are globally aligned and executed effectively

Description/Tasks:
Design and develop technical (metallic and composite) solutions in conjunction with the mechanical design team.

Perform accurate detailed structural analysis (Static and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance) on primary and secondary structures.

Validate engineering drawings and provide general engineering support.

Prepare documents for compliance demonstration.

Define and develop analysis methods, tests and certification requirements to comply with the different regulations.

Participate and/or witness test and prepare the corresponding reports as required.

Prepare and present data at design reviews in support of development and certification requirements.

During quotation phase, support bidding team for technical feasibility studies, secure scope definition, hours and associated assumptions.

Interact with suppliers and OEMs as required.

Lead Engineering projects and act as a focal point with our partners.

**Familiar with**:
Aircraft primary and secondary structure.

Bird strike testing and analysis.

Dynamics analysis.

Qualification/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in functional area or related professional field from an accredited University.
- Minimum of 7 years in aerospace engineering.
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering concepts and design.
- Strong experience with FEM analysis and hand calculations, using classical stress analysis techniques.
- Knowledge in F&DT analysis for aerospace primary structures.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic or any other programming tools.
- Comfortable to work in a stressful and highly demanding environment and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Language English (mandatory), Spanish
