How can you contribute?_**

We are looking for a **Junior Security Engineer** to join our Regional Security Team, under the guidance of a more Senior Security Engineer, to ensure operational security within the region and each laboratory in scope, in close collaboration with Group Security’s SOC, Threat Hunting and Pentesting teams.

In this role, you will be a part of the Regional Information Security Office for multiple European businesses of the Eurofins Group (Food & Feed testing, Environment testing, Sensory testing).

The scope includes:

- Ensuring network-level security, approving firewall rules, configurations, WAF exceptions, etc.;
- Assessing vulnerabilities in the regional and local infrastructures; performing vulnerability scans;
- Testing laboratories for compliance with security policies and procedures, performing regular reviews (access rights, admin access, configuration, firewall rules, cloud exposure, cloud compliance, etc.);
- Implementing remediations following Group’s pentests, perimeter scans, vulnerability scans, etc.;
- Assisting in security breach investigations: investigating reports, incidents, vulnerability intelligence sent by the SOC;
- Becoming the technical point of contact of the Group Risk team during laboratory audits;
- Supporting the build-up of operational Security KPIs and recommending improvements.

Are you our kind of extraordinary?_**
- Knowledge of general IT concepts (Active Directory, Office 365, Cloud, systems administration) and modern networking (micro-segmentation, SASE, SD-WAN) are desired;
- Knowledge in Information Security concepts are preferable:

- Vulnerability assessment and remediation;
- Security solutions, network architecture, firewalls, cloud security, etc.;
- Security automation, scripting;
- Security within Change Management processes.
- Certifications in Cybersecurity are an asset;
- Quick learner, autonomous and adaptable;
- ease with rapidly moving business environment;
- Attentive to details and with a problem-solving approach;
- Interested in large, complex IT environments;
- Strong **English **language skills (written/oral) required. Knowledge of another language is an asset.
