Finance Controller

Worldsensing products have been pioneering the industrial IoT since 2008. We’re looking for an outstanding Finance Controller to join our Finance department.

Founded in 2008, Worldsensing works with more than 200 engineering service providers worldwide to help them improve geotechnical, geospatial and structural monitoring in mining, construction, rail and critical infrastructure management.

Reports to: VP Finance

Contract: Permanent

Location: Barcelona, Spain

**The Mission**:
The FC/FBP works by reporting directly to the VP of Finance, to control, analyze and understand the financial situation and evolution of the company and help make the company more efficient and profitable by implementing processes and tools.

Often working through difficult periods including month-end, year-end, and annual budgeting, the FC/FBP works with various departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work together with the Accounting department to supervise month-end closing activities and ensure financial results are accurate.
- In charge of the consolidation of the different subsidiaries
- Monthly reporting and forecast reporting with data accuracy and integrity.
- Conducting the financial controls required to check the accuracy of the information
- Preparation of reporting for the Board of Directors.
- Led the company budgeting and forecast processes for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Support through analysis of the VP of Finance regarding the company cash management.
- Act as a Finance Business Partner for all Directors and Managers of the company, identifying useful financial metrics and information that can help them measure and improve the business performance of their departments.
- Guide the business to interpret the reports and make decisions based on them.
- Develop analysis on company performance: unit product cost, allocating indirect costs, operations productivity & sales performance insights, services, etc.
- Generate profitability analysis by different aspects of our business (by country, by product, by salesperson...).
- Participation in other transformation projects of the Company.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- High level of English
- Strong knowledge of accountancy and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of the following tools: Excel, Business Central, Power BI
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
