REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area.
- 1-2 years of experience as an HR assistant in HR development preferably.
- Bilingual in English - Spanish. French will be an asset.
- Highly computer literate with capability in Excel, MS Office and HR related software’s.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Effective HR administration skills and ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong people management and interpersonal skills.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Be able to work autonomously and as team member.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide administrative support to the department such as employee database, process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (training, performance, etc.).
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Ensure smooth communication and timely resolution to their queries.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.).
