**Job description**

We have a vacancy to begin September 2024 for Young Learners English Teacher at a small, but rapidly growing, language school in Elche, Alicante. The position would involve teaching small groups of primary children from 5-10 years old.

The role of the Young Learners English Teacher is to provide a fun atmosphere where children can develop their English communication skills with you and each other in a natural way. We teach in a 100% English language environment.

Each class will last an hour. During this time the children will interact solely in English through games, music, crafts, storytelling, drama and other entertaining activities.

It is a great opportunity for anyone who is energetic, motivated and creative and looking to build a career working with children or teaching English as a foreign language. The position is initially 8 hours a week and afternoon only. Monday to Thursday, 2 hours per day. There may also be an option to do additional hours.

**Requirements**:

- Effective classroom management skills and the ability to control children in a motivational and fair way.
- A fun, lively personality to bring energy to the role combined with and mature outlook on life and work.
- Punctuality and a positive attitude are essential.
- Legally entitled to work part time in Spain.
- Confidence and the ability to think quickly and be spontaneous.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From 120.00€ per week

Expected hours: 8 per week
