**Join Capgemini as a Senior Microsoft SQL Database Administrator**

We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Microsoft SQL DBA**to support and manage critical database operations. If you have a strong background in **Microsoft SQL Server**environments and enjoy solving problems, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with clients and teams—this role is for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage **Microsoft SQL Server/Cluster run operations**across multiple versions (2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016).
- Serve as the **main point of contact**for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Perform **routine database operations**including incident, problem, change, and service request (SR) handling.
- Conduct **regular health checks**and performance monitoring for database systems.
- Align with the client on **parameter changes**and other system adjustments.
- Identify and drive **automation opportunities**for improved efficiency.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to **quality and compliance standards**.

**Required Skills**:

- **7-10 years**of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Expertise with SQL Server versions from **2005 to 2016**:

- Solid **Windows Server knowledge**:

- Strong communication, **presentation**, and **reporting**skills
- Proven **problem-solving**and **conflict-resolution**abilities
- Demonstrated **servant leadership**mindset and team collaboration

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Experience with **database automation tools or scripting**(e.g., PowerShell, T-SQL).
- Familiarity with **ITIL-based processes**and enterprise service management frameworks.
- Exposure to **cloud-hosted SQL environments**(Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.).
