We are looking for Mechanical Design Engineer Lead (m/w/d) to join our customer team in Getafe.

Your missions will be:

- Generating mechanical designs and CAD models
- Specifying and selecting machine components
- Generating fabrication drawings and production documents
- Generating support documentation and testing of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Providing expertise and support to all engineering activities of the company
- Working on mechanical design aspects of the company’s products
- Supporting continuous improvement in terms of design & verification processes
- Supporting the efficient interaction and information flow between disciplines
- Coming up with development ideas and their realization Pro-actively introducing, documenting and disseminating new technologies and concepts in the technology survey activities of the department

**Requirements**:
About you:

- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of **5 years of proven experience** in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge of Mechanical Design and Equipment Installation (MSI)
- Proficiency in engineering tools, including CAD and Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Advanced experience with **CATIA V5**, including **Full 3D modeling** capabilities (part design, assembly design, and drafting); familiarity with Airbus Defense and Space-specific design tools is highly valued
- Strong understanding of material selection and surface treatment processes
- Proficient in standard office and internet software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite)Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency at B2 level
