Data Analyst

We’re looking for a **Data Analyst (M/F/d)** to join our team and help turn data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions across the company. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders from various departments - from product to operations, marketing to leadership - to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Your insights will uncover trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strategic initiatives. You'll be part of a collaborative analytics team where curiosity is encouraged, experimentation is supported, and data plays a key role in how we operate and grow.

**THE ROLE - YOUR PASSION**

**Deliver Actionable Insights**
- Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support business goals.
- Help teams define, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Build Dashboards & Reporting
- Design and maintain dashboards in tools such as Power BI and Metabase.
- Ensure reports are intuitive, reliable, and tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Automate recurring reporting processes where possible.

**Collaborate Across Teams**
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience to support their data needs.
- Understand business questions and translate them into structured analyses.
- Support teams in using data to make informed decisions.

**Ensure Data Quality & Accuracy**
- Validate data sources and outputs to ensure high data integrity.
- Identify data inconsistencies and work with engineering or data teams to resolve issues.

**Drive Data-Driven Culture**
- Implement and champion data-driven practices across the company.
- Provide training and support to team members on how to leverage data in their daily work.
- Encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing around data to foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote the use of data tools and ensure that teams understand how to use data to drive business outcomes.

**Support Strategic Initiatives**
- Contribute to company-wide analytics initiatives such as segmentation, forecasting, cohort analysis, and experimentation.
- Assist in building and interpreting models that inform business planning and strategy.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SURF THE WAVE WITH US**
- You have successfully completed your **bachelor's degree**, preferably in engineering, physics, informatics, computer science or other STEM-related fields
- You have more **than 3 years of relevant experience as a data analyst**, especially with operational and business analysis.
- You have the ability to work effectively with people at all levels and from all different areas of the organisation**, empowering them with data and insights**
- You have excellent **analytical and communication skills** and can present your findings in a practical and actionable way to ensure that your insights are applied by the company.
- You have advanced **proficiency in SQL** code and **visualisation tools** (PowerBI and Metabase are a plus)
- You are fluent in **business English**
