About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Supervisor position to join our Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

- Oversee, train, and evaluate the performance of assigned housekeepers, departmental trainers and house attendants ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. Provide lateral service where necessary in order to ensure the finest service to guests.
- Verify status on room reports, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize and update status of departing guestrooms.
- Attend daily quality line-ups as well as Housekeeping departmental meetings.
- Ensure that employees comply and abide by the employee standards of conduct at all times.
- Inspect supply levels, cleanliness and organization of floor closets and assign designated employees to rectify any deficiencies.
- Verity accuracy of DNR rooms in accordance with hotel procedures.

Qualification and Experience:

- Previous Housekeeping experience as well guest/employee relations training.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use and requirements or equipment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculation
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.

- Ability to prioritize and organize work in addition to delegating work to appropriate individuals.

- Ability to ascertain staff training needs and provide such training.
- Ability to endure abundant physical movements in carrying out certain job functions when the situation permits.
