Contribute to the development of the world by creating digitally painted 2D backgrounds.
- Provide iterations of concept art in various production stages including rough sketches, full-colour concepts, and final painted environments
- Strong painting and illustration skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of perspective.
- Strong understanding of employing light, shadow, color, form, and composition to create beautiful backgrounds with mood and atmosphere.
- Ability to understand artistic notes and adapt them to tasks with creativity.
- Passion for animation and visual storytelling
- Great teamwork, listening and communication skills.
- Quick learning abilities and interest in improving artistic and technical skills.
- Good organisation skills to deliver work within deadlines and adapt to the team’s workflow.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with both artists and supervisors.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a must
- Basic knowledge of Blender is a plus.
- English knowledge is mandatory. Enough proficiency to communicate with the team and understand directions.
- Availability to work on-site at the SPA studios in Madrid, Spain.
