Junior Structural Engineer

Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Languages: High level of English and Spanish (Advanced or Proficient)
**Experience in the following is desired**: RIDO, CYPE (Embedded retaining walls / Steel sheet pilings), MIDAS-Civil, STATIK / CEDRUS (Cubus) / ETABS / SAP2000 / FAGUS (Cubus), Structural Bridge Design / Sam (AutoDesk) / AutoCAD, Excel, Presto
BIM platforms - REVIT
**Codes/Standards**: Spanish National Codes, AASHTO/ACI/ASTM, Eurocodes.
Availability to travel and work for specific short and medium periods of time in other countries.
Preferred Qualifications
Structural & MSc Civil Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience in Structural Design/Calculations and building engineering.Experience in Steel Building Design.
