We are seeking a passionate and dedicated legal professional to play a key role in our operations in Spain. As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day legal and compliance activities.

Your role will involve advising the business on legal and compliance risks and collaborating closely with local teams to develop practical solutions and responses. **Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting day to day legal and compliance activities in Spain.
- Drafting agreements, customer documents and all type of legal documentation.
- Driving business compliance with applicable European and national legal and regulatory requirements.
- Working with Genworth Europe’s Compliance and Government Relations team to devise and implement Compliance&GR programs.

**Su Perfil**
**Must have**
- Qualified lawyer in Spain with 2-6 years experience in financial services.
- Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English and Spanish (French will be an advantage).
- Proven drafting and negotiation skills.
- International mindset

**Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience**
- Insurance & Reinsurance expertise
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework for insurance in Spain
- Experience of working for a multinational company
- Proficiency in working across various jurisdictions.

**Key Qualities / Competencies**
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High energy levels and works well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with different teams.
