Ground Operations Quality

**Job Purpose**

This position will be responsible for managing the entire process in reference to all quality and safety related events, discrepancies, reports, and findings.

Provide support to the department's operational team by resolving doubts about operational procedures.

Control the department´s internal training.

Cooperate with the Ground Ops Quality Specialist in the elaboration and updating of procedures as well as in different internal projects.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Is accountable for keeping the reporting tool up to date.
- Is accountable for making monthly reports on the monitoring of internal and external quality and safety events.
- Is accountable for ensuring processes, procedures, and products or services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
- Is accountable for helping Ground operations quality coordinator to prepare training sessions in Ground operations, commercial policies, and procedures and any other that may be necessary in order to maintain staff prepare for any internal and external interaction.
- Is accountable for maintaining training records updated as required by the regulations and monitor performance.
- Is accountable for creating a positive work atmosphere and providing guidance and support to the team.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Compile and analyse the events and daily reports.
- Co-ordinate with the team the request for information about the event making sure that the responses meet the established time and comply with the standards.
- Prepare monthly reports related to operational issues.
- Support on-site support for external and internal quality, safety and inspections audits.
- Maintain training records updated as required by the regulations and monitor performance.
- Interact with all areas of stakeholders across the organisation.
- Assisting the quality manager with any project or requirement, for any project or requirement.
- Work closely with an internal team for the development of company policies, processes, and procedures and will participate in different internal projects.

**Main Relationships**
- Ground operations Team.
- Internal departments as: Compliance, safety, flight ops, ops engineering or any other department that may need their assistance.
- External departments: Ground operations handlers, lost&found offices, Cargo providers, or any other who may need assistance.

**Education**

Minimum education required: high school diploma.

**Experience**

2 to 3 years of airport experience, ideally managing teams.

**Desired**
- Dangerous Goods course
- knowledge in SMS and Compliance Monitoring,
- knowledge on regulations: IATA, Air Ops, European legislation, IOSA.
- Coruson (Sistema)
- VIcc Training.

**Competencies**
- Strong working knowledge of ground operations area
- Highly Analytical Approach to Problem Solving
- Quick learner, proactive, highly organized individual with the ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
- Communication skills

**Languages**
- English and Spanish: C1
- Other languages are appreciated

**Other**
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially word, excel, power point).
- Document composition abilities.
- knowledge on regulations.
- Availability to travel is a must.
