**Job Description**:
We are looking for a **Product Manager **who will be responsible for planning, management, and control of brands during the product life cycle from market maturity to market exit. Being a part of a very strategic area of the business - the **Own Brands Food** team - you will be one of the main drivers in bringing private labels to the next level, thus, having a great impact on zooplus' success.

As a **Product Manager**, you will be involved in:

- Development and implementation of the specific private label brand strategy and marketing plan in coordination with the Group Product Manager.
- Proactive and systematic NPD (New product development) for private label brands owning or being responsible for leading and coordinating dedicated projects.
- Sales responsibility for the specific private labels to be supported in the individual markets.
- Definition of assortment strategies.
- Interpretation of existing reports and continuous key figure analysis as well as optimization with regard to the cost situation, article availability, margin, turnover - and implement conclusions proactively into daily work.
- Control of promotional initiatives and derivation of recommendations for action to achieve the respective sales targets in internal and cross departmental perspective.
- Creation of design briefings for selected brands according to brand positioning.
- Continuous ecommerce site maintenance and optimization for the brands in the sense of increasing customer satisfaction and quality assurance.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in economics preferably with a focus on business administration/marketing.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience and passion for product management in FMCG, retail, or pet food.
- Profound Project Management skills and capacity to support and lead New Product Development processes in the independent support of brands or private labels.
- Knowledge of the marketing mix and tools.
- Analytical skills combined with the ability to cope with complex and large data volumes.
- Experience in the cooperation and management of external agencies.
- Very good command of written and spoken English.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
- Hands-on mentality and flexibility. Constructive networker.
- Takes responsibility for the quality of all deliverables, contributes to doing things better and faster.
- Obtains leader mindset, owns it, drives it. Sees opportunities to fix/ improve processes, and drives stakeholders to support and deliver this change.
