We are currently recruiting a CAD Technician for for in-house structural design of a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, bridges and viaducts; earth retaining structures, underground structures; culverts and building structures, to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a CAD Technician that wants to boost his/her professional career on structural drafting.

**The responsibilities of this role include**:
+ Analyzes and adheres to the project CAD standards.

+ Prepares finished design drawings from sketches, notes and layout details in CAD 2D and 3D.

+ Works in engineering project collaboration software platforms (i.e., ProjectWise, BIM360).

+ Self-checks drawings for quality assurance, following the QAQC procedure in force in the project.

+ Works in a team-based environment that involves coordination with colleagues based in different offices.

+ Performs the responsibilities under limited supervision.

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership

Minimum Requirements

+ +5 year experience working as CAD Technician on bridges and structures.

+ Expert in the use of CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation). Software accreditation will be considered favourable

+ Proficiency in drafting using Autodesk Revit deriving drawings from 3D models will be considered favourable

+ Experienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWise

+ Communicative level of English (oral and written).

+ Experience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourable

Preferred Qualifications

+ Certificated in a drafting technology Institute Technical or similar Professional Education.
