Optibus is looking for an exceptional Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform R&D team in the challenge of moving the world smarter and more efficiently. We are looking for an experienced professional with superb interpersonal skills, a software engineering background, and the production experience of building web apps at scale.

As a Developer on the Platform Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the user-experience and developer experience of our company's products and services by delivering sophisticated cross-module features and architectural solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the team lead, product manager and UX/UI designer in a cross-functional team currently consisting of 4 developers and a QA engineer, as well as closely collaborating with other teams in the R&D department across the organization
- Leading and being involved in key decisions regarding architecture, roadmap, technology and UX
- Take part in all aspects of the development cycle
- Help shape the R&D department’s technical direction, best practices, product ideas, and team processes
- Mentor and coach other team members

- 5+ years of full-stack development
- Experience with client-side development frameworks (such as React, Ember or Angular)
- Experience with server-side development (such as Node.js)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB)
- Eagerness to learn, desire to mentor other team members
- This role is a hybrid position that requires either your location within the Basque Country or your willingness to relocate
- Fluent written and verbal English skills

**It will be great if you have**:

- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Container Orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with AWS tools such as Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda or similar alternative solutions
- Experience in the mobility ecosystem
