We’re looking for an Operations and Sales Manager to join our team at OneCoWork Recoletos - our brand new building in Madrid. As an Operations and Sales Manager you will play a pivotal role in the launch and success by managing day to day operations, leading our sales activities, ensuring member satisfaction, and providing excellent customer service.
**At OneCoWork, your responsibilities will include**:
**Building Opening & Setup**:
- Oversee the final stages of the building opening, ensuring all systems (IT, security, amenities) are operational and compliant
- Conduct inspections to ensure readiness for members, addressing any facility issues promptly.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Set up contracts for appropriate rentals (coffee machines, filtrated water equipment, any other necessary supplies for the correct operational functioning of the building, including maintenance)
**Operations**:
- Execute operational processes and make any necessary updates to guarantee efficient space management.
- Oversee maintenance, cleaning, security and supply management.
- Monitor and manage facility expenses to stay within budget.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure consistent support.
- Develop systems for inventory management, efficient packages handling systems, and other day-to-day operations necessary for this specific location.
- Provide regular reports to management.
- Direct report of the community team. Responsible for providing full training, development plans, regular performance reviews and OKRs.
**Sales**:
- Create and execute sales strategies to attract and retain members.
- Conduct space tours, close deals, and renewals, focusing on corporate clients.
- Identify and pursue corporate clients for team memberships or event space rentals.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns
- Build partnerships with local businesses and startups to enhance member value with the support of the CM team.
- Monitor occupancy and revenue goals and generate sales reports.
What we’re looking for;
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a combined operations and sales role, ideally within the coworking, hospitality, or real estate sectors. Experience with building pre-openings is ideal.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven sales track record with excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with coworking or property management softwares and CRM tools such as Nexudus, HubSpot, Salto KS is a benefit but not required.
- Proficiency in budgeting, expense tracking, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge of local regulations and building compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and managing a team.
- Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance operational efficiency and sales growth.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
