**Impact of a QA Lead**:
As the QA Engineering Lead, you will establish and guide the Quality Assurance function across engineering. More than a tester, you are a strategist and hands-on leader who brings structure, consistency, and rigor to how we test, moving the organization toward a cohesive and scalable approach to quality.

Your impact will be seen in stronger releases, greater reliability, and a shared commitment to quality across the entire engineering organization.

**What to expect**:

- **Lead QA Strategy**: Own and drive the QA function by creating a consistent testing approach across all systems to ensure both reliability and speed of delivery.
- **Unify Testing Practices**: Develop and implement streamlined testing methods that bring alignment across components and teams.
- **Define a QA Roadmap**: Conduct gap analysis, propose solutions, and introduce new tools or frameworks to strengthen our testing capabilities.
- **Build Testing Infrastructure**: Design and maintain robust infrastructure for APIs, including performance, data consistency, and stability checks.
- **Enhance Stability**: Improve the performance and resilience of existing testing frameworks to increase confidence in every release.
- **Increase Visibility**: Establish systems that provide clear reporting on test coverage and results.
- **Provide Leadership**: Mentor engineers, fostering best practices in testing and code quality while building a strong culture of quality.

**What you bring**:

- **Proven Leadership in QA**: Significant experience driving QA functions and establishing scalable processes across engineering organizations.
- **Automation Expertise**: Deep knowledge of designing and implementing automated testing strategies and frameworks for complex systems.
- **Distributed Systems Experience**: Hands-on success in building testing approaches that address interactions, dependencies, and failure scenarios across microservices.
- **Technical Depth in Testing**: Strong practical experience with API testing, performance testing, and end-to-end test automation.
- **Culture of Quality**: Ability to establish QA processes and embed a culture of quality across an engineering organization.
- **Problem-Solving Mindset**: Strong skills in bringing structure, clarity, and solutions to complex or ambiguous challenges.

**Bonus Points for**:

- Experience working in a PaaS (Platform as a Service) or a similar complex, distributed systems environment.
- Familiarity with building and maintaining testing infrastructure within modern CI/CD pipelines, extra bonus points for Continuous AI experience
- Python or Golang programming experience for test automation or tooling.
- Familiarity with test-case management software (e.g., TestRail or similar).
