**About the Role**

The Finance Operations Business Systems Analyst is a lead role within the EMEA Financial Operations organisation and provides technical support for financial systems, reporting solutions & continuous improvement initiatives.
The goal of the role is to ensures continuity, consistency, homogeneity of all financial reporting & Data in EMEA. The Business Systems Analyst ensures flawlessness of EMEA reporting - No Down Time This person is the key contact to the Information Systems community and is pulled in technical discussions to ensure the above.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial systems and process being delivered by the EMEA FinOps organisation (process improvement/reengineering projects).
- Develop standardised reporting capabilities and supports training relating to the new systems deployment
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on financial systems/centralised reporting
- Provide ongoing support and trouble-shooting of deployed processes.
- Provide administrative support to the team in relation to report access
- Participate in special projects as they arise, including compliance reviews, financial audits and due diligence reviews.
- Maintain existing reports, including evolving documentation, data flow, etc

**What are we looking for in you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, accounting or finance preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst
- Based in Madrid or willing to relocate to Madrid
- Strong customer focus
- Solid ability to translate user needs into technical terms / solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Extensive experience with Office Automation through macros or Visual basic
- Database management skills: knowledge of** **SQL** **(structured query language) and experience working with SQL databases, effective database design/planning and data relationship modelling.
- Advanced level skills with Reporting Tools (Tableau, Business Object, MS Power tools including Power Query, Power Pivot & Power BI etc.)
- Basic understanding of Finance Reporting Systems (Oracle Hyperion) or SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in English (main working language), spanish is not a requirement for this role.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Good collaboration and team working skills.
