Data Governance Analyst

**What You'll Do**:
**Data Governance Mission**:
Within Finance Shared Services, you will join the Data Office of the Data and Process Excellence team. Composed of highly motivated data specialists and focused on following 3 main missions:

- Contribute to the definition and implementation of a data governance framework where principles, policies, roles and responsibilities for data stakeholders are defined and contribute to maximize accountability, business outcomes, operational efficiency, data quality and access to insights
- Drive the design of the functional data model (in particular: Client, Product, etc) with an optimal balance between process efficiency, client segment and/or product specificities vs. Core model, business model evolutions and company reporting requirements
- Operate data governance by performing key actions such as keep data dictionary, ownership and lineage up to date.
- Improve and secure data quality by contributing to future company projects and by partnering with Business teams to understand their existing pain points and processes, to propose preventive controls, data quality monitoring dashboards, alerting mechanisms, cleaning procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:
Your main responsibilities will be:

- Be a key point of contact for any team working on critical data in your perimeter (Business, PMO, change management, Integration, BI )
- Set-up and maintain, together with the corresponding Data owner and steward, the data dictionary, lineage, ownership, sensitivity, update processes and access of your domains
- On Data assurance and quality stream:

- Support the definition of clean data per domain and object and support the creation of a data control catalogue
- Perform analysis on data quality and automate controls using modern Data visualization tools like Power BI
- Communicate data cleaning planning and status with data owner and steward of your perimeter and/or project team
- Document and seek signoff of the process to maintain and clean data records
- Coordinate or, in some cases, perform data cleaning campaign execution that can involve co-sourced resources or other internal teams

**Who You Are**:

- MS degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related degree
- 2-3 years proven working experience as data analyst
- You demonstrate a high interest in BI and Data such as:

- Understanding of database modeling
- Experience with reporting BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Working experience on CRM, Billing or Accounting tools would be a plus (SalesForce)
- Ease to work in a very iterative manner with prototypes (Agile mode)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mind-set
- Good communication skillset
- Fluent in English
