**ABOUT OKU**

‘OKU’ is derived from the Japanese spiritual and architectural concept meaning ‘inner space’. OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully-curated, laidback luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections and slow living at heart.

OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey, Spain and the Maldives. OKU is targeting to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Create and execute an innovative and high-quality cocktail program that reflects the OKU philosophy and utilizes local and seasonal ingredients.
- Manage the bar and beverage inventory, ensuring efficient operation and impeccable presentation.
- Train and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Interact with guests, providing personalized service and beverage recommendations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and dining room team to create beverage pairings and unique gastronomic experiences.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in cocktails and mixology.
- Ensure compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Passion for hospitality and cocktails, with an enthusiastic and professional attitude that represents the OKU philosophy.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mixologist in high-end establishments, preferably in luxury hotels or cocktail bars.
- In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and other cocktail ingredients.
- Mastery of classic and modern mixology techniques.
- Creativity and passion for creating innovative cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a people-first mindset.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
- Previous Pre-Opening experience is a plus.

**Behavioural Competencies**
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to manage the bar and beverage inventory with efficiency and precision.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and within a team.

**Technical Skills and Knowledge**
- Knowledge of the latest trends in cocktails and mixology.
- Experience in creating cocktails with local and seasonal ingredients.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in food and beverage handling.
