We are currently seeking a Senior Biostatistician to join our growing Biostatistics team in Barcelona. In this role you will perform statistical research tasks of moderate to high technical complexity; select among existing approaches and techniques to complete variable work assignments. In collaboration with other members of theRTII-HS team you will also develop proposals and/or statistical sections of moderately complex proposals under limited supervision. Additionally, you will be expected to develop statistical analysis plans and perform statistical analyses in support of projects under limited supervision.

**Responsibilities**:
Will include but not be limited to:

- Mentor less experienced staff in completing project work.
- Ensure quality of statistical analysis and programming for projects they support.
- Learn new methods in response to project demands.
- Write statistical sections of study reports and complex sections under supervision.
- Provide statistical consulting to internal colleagues.
- Work effectively as a member of a cross functional team, identifying key issues that require a statistical solution and working with more senior staff to find solutions.
- Contribute to professional development of staff and scientific stature of the department.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience, Master's degree and 3 years of experience or PhD with related research experience
- Demonstrated statistical programming skills, including SAS and R
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
