Sustainability and Climate Change Consultant

As a consequence of the continuous growth and development of projects in our organization, we are seeking for a Consulting Associate in the area of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change, covering the following services: sustainability and reporting services, and Climate Change.
Based in Madrid or Barcelona, you will focus on projects, assignments and proposal tasks under the supervision of your team leader, contributing to the achievement of the team and group targets of quality project delivery, client satisfaction, productivity and revenues.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Provide comprehensive support for Climate Change projects.
- Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
- Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), applicable regulations on disclosure of non-financial information, etc.
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.
- Understanding the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s).
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline and Master's degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, climate change, environmental science, or environmental discipline such as environmental management.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sustainability related services.
- Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting).
- Knowledge on Sustainability reporting standards and regulations.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages is mandatory Other languages (French, Portuguese or Italian) will be considered as a plus.
