Maintenance Programmes Lead Engineer

**The Role**
Reporting to Maintenance Programmes Manager, the position will be based in either our Dublin or Madrid offices and will be responsible for:
- Review of the Boeing Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR) to ensure accurate implementation into the Ryanair’s Group Maintenance Programme for B737NG/8200/A320 fleet, as applicable;
- Ensure that the maintenance programme is optimised to avoid/ mitigate operational impact of in-service defects;
- Review of Heavy Maintenance findings and the identification of solutions for repeat occurrences;
- Submission and obtaining of Aviation Authority approval of the Ryanair’s Group Maintenance Programmes when required;
- Development of detailed reports to support the optimisation of the Ryanair’s Maintenance Programmes;
- Providing input to the B737NG/8200/A320 Industry Steering Committee (ISC) regarding on-going optimisation of the MRB/MPD;
- Attend 737NG/8200/A320 Working Groups and ISC meetings;
- Support Aircraft Transfers and End of lease requirements;
- Lead IT projects to further streamline Maintenance Programme processes
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in an airline CAMO environment in a similar role;
- Detailed technical knowledge of Boeing 737 systems; Airbus 320 experience would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of MSG-3 & Maintenance Programme optimisation methodologies (e.g. SASMO, OPTIMA) an advantage;
- Sound knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements;
- Excellent working knowledge of AMOS and Office365 suite;
- Multi-operator maintenance programme experience and advantage
- Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority;
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means;
- Ability to work independently, under mínimal supervision and to act as a team leader to the Maintenance Programmes team;
- Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
