The Director of Europe is an executive who provides strategic leadership in chapter areas of health and regional development. The Director will play a meaningful role in an organizational project related to chapter health that will impact chapters globally. The Director will provide guidance to the chapter leadership of chapters throughout Europe. The Director, Europe also manages a cross-functional team of staff professionals and is the primary liaison to the EO Europe Regional Council to achieve organizational metrics consistent with the purpose and ambition statements of the Global Organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leader: - Lead a team of dedicated professionals to drive impact through EO products and regional programming - Be an EO ambassador at virtual, hybrid, and in-person events - Deftly handle all escalated membership issues - e.g. basic solicitations, policies and procedures violations, major problem resolutions, etc. - Attendance required at Presidents Meetings in Europe, GLC, alignment meetings and other events as required. - Focus on developing and elevating the team Regional Health & Growth: - Update and drive the EO Europe Regional Action Plan (RAP) to improve the regional, area, and chapter performance in alignment with organizational priorities - Responsible for the EO Regional budget and recommendations for effective financial investments in regional activities for the future - Serve as the liaison to the Europe Regional Council, and more specifically, the Regional Chair who serves as the most senior volunteer leader of the Regional Council - Drive growth and retention initiatives in the region in alignment with the RAP and organizational goals - Bring forward strategies for the furthering of EO’s imprint in the region Chapter Health & Growth: - Responsible for the overall health and success of chapters within the EO Europe portfolio - Ensure the success of Chapter Leadership Awards, Presidents Meetings, Strategy Summits, and other events and training organized in the region - Drive member engagement through the promotion of EO’s products, including educating members about the benefits of their membership - Drive the participation from the chapters in the region to attend the Global Leadership Conference, Universities, and regional events - Oversee the successful deployment of global products or initiatives in the region and ensure collaboration between stakeholders is successful Global Impact: - Create data-driven reports that inform decisions and shape the strategy of the region, focused on having an impact - Monitor such data reports to unearth potential risks to chapter, regional, or global success (e.g. percent drop in renewals, limited recruitment activities) - Identify opportunities for opening new markets and ensure the success of new chapter launches. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED - Minimum ten (10) years of staff management, executive leadership, and business development experience - Experience with managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously - Excellent organizational and customer service skills - Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy, and poise - Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills - A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job - Establishes relationships proactively; shows genuine interest in the needs and concerns of others; maintains a positive attitude; builds networks - Event and logistic experience preferred - Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Slack, Basecamp, SaEuropege, CRM, etc. preferred ADA Specifications - Professional workplace where business casual attire is required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to p
