As **Store Operations Manager, **you will lead the operations of the store ensuring an environment is created which allows efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence in front and back of house execution. You will proactively manage your team to achieve their individual goals. You will be responsible for building passionate and highly motivated, talented individuals who continue to grow in their career, securing succession plans with this.

**Job responsibilities**:
**Your role will be**:

- Team Management and Development _
- Lead the team to drive and deliver business goals, creating a positive, enjoyable work environment which fosters cooperation and excellence.
- Define individual and team goals and targets, regularly reviewing, managing, and coaching performance against the expectations.
- Provide regular and qualitative feedback to the team, coaching “in the moment” to achieve the greatest impact.
- Identify, recruit, and develop talent in collaboration with the Store Manager/Director, securing succession plans to enable this.
- Organize the back of house team in an effective manner to match customer flow and operational demands.
- Provide training to new team members on all the operations procedures and tools relevant to their role.
- Proactively identify gaps in knowledge of the back of house operations, systems, tools etc. for the front and back of house teams and provide suitable training.
- Operations _
- Ensure the stock room is maintained to the highest standards, merchandise is stored in a clear and organised way which allows the efficient flow between front and back of house.
- Monitor the back of house capacity and work with the Managers and HQ for the necessary replenishment and movement.
- Receive and manage all stock deliveries to the store, checking to ensure inventory matches the invoice and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Manage any returns and transfers to stores and the Warehouse.
- Maintain inventory with responsibility for periodic full stock takes and mini cycle counts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of policies, standards and procedures ensuring they are communicated and implemented.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and ensure store execution of Aftersales policy.
- Ensure all Health & Safety legislation and processes are in place and adhered to.
- Ensure the Store is maintained to the highest standard both internal and external, front and back of house.
- Liaise and manage internal and external suppliers and support offices (IT support...)
- Lead and coordinate the launch of any new systems or digital tools ensuring a successful implementation.
- Communicate with passion and inspire the team on company messages and information relating to Back of House and Operations during morning briefings, training, one to one meetings.
- Work to ensure an effective collaboration between front and back of house.
- Work with internal teams (Visual, Merchandising, Press) making available their product requests.
- Support and lead the front of house when required and in the absence of other managers.
- Administration _
- Monitor and manage to ensure good cashiering processes, till reconciliation, open and closing processes are in place.
- Review and coordinate staff scheduling, attendance, leave, payroll and process all related reports.
- Ensure the team are knowledgeable of the Store Operations Handbook and the processes within it and any updates.
- Manage any store expenses including petty cash.
- Coordinate the ordering of employee uniform.
- Review and interpret company reports, creating actions where needed.
- Produce reports as and where required.
