We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing global team, which is responsible for managing and maintaining many security platforms for incident detection and response. As par of this team, you will mainly manage our XSOAR solution, from both an engineering and content development point of view, being located in Madrid (Spain) and working under a flexible hybrid model.
**What You Will Do**:
- participate in the design and implementation of new features and functionality, working closely with our stakeholders
- contribute to our next generation vulnerability management project (XSOAR as a critical component for VulnMan orchestration and enrichment)
- troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing technical support to other teams if needed
- monitor platform performance and availability, and work to optimize and improve it as necessary
- stay up-to-date with new and emerging features, making recommendations for how they can be leveraged to improve the platform
- contribute to the Cyber Defense organization and help to continuously improve our security platforms
**What You Bring**:
- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Operations, engineering and development in Palo Alto XSOAR solution. Good programming skills (Python, JavaScript and PowerShell) will also be valued
- understanding of the product, content and its integrations and understanding of IT vulnerabilities management & SOC use cases development (XSOAR content development)
- analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- high verbal & writing skills in English to interact with our international colleagues and stakeholders
- willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
