- Understand the business case and to create a model design suitable for the business taks
- Manage the resource and the analytical tasks in a timely manner.
- Presents the results to the business operations, being able to communicate to no technical audience about technical topics. (data and analytical story telling).
- Create a model development roadmap plan to take into account data quality, business needs and value realization.
- Manage the team and have regular 1-2-1 to provide feedbacks and support the team learning and development to be an high performance team
- Being able to contribute to internal project proactively to improve methodologies, processes and analytical initiatives.
- About you:
- The Manager Data science is responsible for manage a small team unit composed of 3-4 data scientists. It is the point of contact between the countries and the business on a regular basis for analytical inititative. The Manager Data science is responsible to organise the teams and resources to provide value to business by gathering, analyzing and productionaising machine learning models. The overall scope is to improve business process to reduce costs and improve profits.- +3 years of relevant management experience (with continuously expanding responsibilities)
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related field is desirable
- Experience with R or Python, SQL, Git and other relevant technologies to perform complex statistical analyses of data and machine learning models
- High level understanding of applicable Machine Learning tools and methods in conjunction with high level understanding of Data Base Management Systems
- Experience in the development of productive machine learning systems, model assessment and monitorization
- Business focus, being the link between the business team and the development team
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders, in committee, etc
- Excellent English communication skills
