Team Leader New Product Development

In order to realize the mission of the engineering organization in PC Zaragoza, we are looking for a new Team Leader.
As a Team Leader, it will be your mission to assure the continuous improvement and cost reduction for the range/ projects assigned. You will work in close cooperation with the operational departments in the Product Company and report directly to the Engineering Manager in Zaragoza.

**Main tasks and responsibilities.**
- Lead and Coach a multidisciplinary team of design Engineers.
- Ensure the consistency and robustness of the designs within the Engineering department.
- Ensure that design meets cost/quality targets. Manage any deviations to cost/quality via Risk/Opportunity tracking.
- Identify, develop & standardize the necessary tools, templates, checklists, to be used by the Engineering department.
- Lead design problem-solving efforts and guide team in redesign activities where necessary.
- Ensure we are aware of the latest international standard requirements that our products must comply to and make sure they are compliant (safety, documentation, directives, etc.) in all markets.

**Experience requirements.**

5+ years demonstrated experience of new product development in a fast-paced environment, in developing new designs for complex electromechanical products that have been launched to market

**Knowledge.**

1. Profound knowledge in machinery design & development and willing to learn in technical area.
2. Knowledge of MS Office. Experience with ILM, CAD tools and MRP systems is an asset.
3. Excellent project management and organization skills.

4. English language at B2 level.

**Educational requirements.**

Master degree in engineering.
