We are looking for a Stress Engineer (m/w/d) in Getafe
Mission
The Structural Calculation Engineer will be integrated into an international project team to carry out structural calculation activities. He will produce finite element models and mechanical analyses: static, dynamic, non-linear, shock, etc.Your main tasks will be:
- Identify the regulatory requirements and define the means to be implemented for the demonstration of compliance. In some cases, these requirements and means can be defined by the customer.
- Propose and implement calculation methods in accordance with the rules of the art or the client's methods.
- Carry out these calculation analyzes (static, fast dynamic, fatigue, damage tolerance, metallic, composite, etc.) using analytical methods or via the creation and post-processing of Finite Element Models.
- Provide summaries of the calculation results and propose improvements
- Write justification and certification documents
**Requirements**:
- You speak Spanish (minimum C1 level), English (minimumb B2 level) and/or French and are able to interact orally on daily basis with Teams located in France
- Ideally, you have minimum 2 years’ experience in structural calculation mainly on static dimensioning and Finite Element Models.
- You have very good knowledge of aeronautical design in metal and composite.
- You master calculation tools (PATRAN/NASTRAN, HYPERWORKS)
