Junior Project Engineer

Now, we are looking for a Junior Project Engineer in our office in Madrid, Spain. This is a role with international and national project exposure and career development.

**What is the role About?**

As Project Engineer of IPS, you will have the responsibility for the planning and management in a wide range of packages and/or complete projects, ranging from small improvements to large projects.

Main duties:

- Assist in the coordination and monitoring of engineering activities during all project phases (feasibility& concept, basic and detailed design, permitting, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications in collaboration with design teams and subcontractors.
- Support in the preparation of project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports.
- Participate in site supervision and inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
- Assist in the coordination between disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural) to ensure alignment in engineering deliverables.
- Support the procurement process, including the preparation of RFQs, technical evaluations, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with senior project engineers and project managers in the follow-up of contractors’ performance.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and records within the company’s document management systems.
- Assist in client meetings and technical presentations, when required.

**Requirements**:
**Who are you?**
- Degree OR master’s in industrial engineering, Building engineering, Civil engineering or Technical Architect.
- 1-3 Years of experience in similar positions
- Experience on a building civil project: permitting, civil works and main infrastructure needs, contracting and construction management and supervision
- Feeling comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
- Competences MS Office, office package, BIM and AI. Presto would be an asset.
- Languages: Spanish, English and French. Other is a plus.
- National and international mobility depends on the project. As a yearly average, it may be 40%.
