Junior Operations Associate

**The Role**

During Q1 this year we are looking to hire an energetic and ambitious Junior Operations Associate (6 months contract) to look after our bike ops in one of our most exciting markets, Spain. The Junior Operations Associate will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Operations. You will be helping to build the foundations of the most critical aspect of the business. This is your chance to work with some amazing people while ensuring the world is a better place.

This role provides the opportunity to own the development of processes in a fast growth start-up. You will get hands-on experience building culture, processes and achieving operational excellence. You will be trained by some of the best in the business

You will be responsible for proper care and function of all bikes in our Spanish markets. This requires:
**People Management**
- Warehouse team (mechanics, site managers, field technicians, etc).
- Sustainably maximize workshop productivity.
- Make Zoomo the best place to work and execute a mechanic hiring, training and retention program which can keep up with our rapid growth.

**Process Design**
- Reacting quickly to critical repair situations as they arise and coordinating an appropriate response.
- Analysis of business inefficiencies and propose solutions to our leadership team.
- Working cross-functionally to analyze data and drive ad hoc initiatives to completion to set and uphold quality standards across the business, using data to manage and optimize.

**Logistics**
- Timely and clear communication to customers, account managers, store supervisors and clients, around bike delivery.
- Coordinating inter-market logistics.
- Tracking and ordering of spare parts & equipment.

**Commercial**
- Help the Commercial team to draft presentations for customers

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in both Spanish and English is a requirement

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, both oral and in writing.
